So I need to tell you something kind of embarrassing. I used to be so anti-peach. Like, in my head peach was a color for, I don’t know, hand soap dispensers in 2003? My mom’s old curtains? It just gave me weird vibes for years.
Then I went in for my regular appointment a couple months back and they were out of my usual nude, and my nail tech Maya was like “just try this peach, trust me.” And reader, I have not gone back. I’m three appointments deep, I have an entire Pinterest board, and I’m pretty sure my coworkers think I have one specific personality trait now and it’s peach nails.
Anyway. I’ve basically tested every single variation that exists at this point so I figured I’d just dump my whole list here.
Some of these are wearable everyday looks. Some are full nail art moments. I’ll tell you which is which as we go.
Peach glazed chrome
This is the one I’m currently wearing as I type this and I won’t shut up about it.
Peach glazed chrome is basically a soft peachy base with this almost wet-looking chrome powder buffed over the top. It’s not a harsh metallic shine, it’s more like… a mirror that’s been breathed on a little? That’s the best I can describe it.
Maya told me the trick is to put the chrome on while the gel is still kind of sticky, then double up on the top coat. Mine have been on for almost three weeks now and the shine has not budged. Worth every penny.
Soft peach French tips
Okay if you’re a French tip girl but feel like the classic white is getting a little stale, this is your answer.
Soft peach French tips give you that same clean shape and structure but in this warm milky peach instead. And honestly? It’s so much more flattering. White can look a little harsh on certain skin tones. Peach just kind of glows.
Funny enough my mom noticed these the second I sat down at brunch last weekend. She was like “you got those done somewhere new?” and I was like no, same place, just a different color. She made me write it down. My mom is now also peach nails coded.
Peach ombré fade
A peach ombré fade is what you ask for when you want something kind of dreamy but not over the top.
It’s a soft gradient from a milky almost-nude base near your cuticles into a juicier peach at the tips. Super romantic, kind of soft, very easy to wear.
Works for everything honestly. Beach. Office. That one engagement party you weren’t sure how to dress for. All of it.
Tiny daisy accents
So tiny daisy accents might be my favorite “I’m in a really good mood” manicure of the year.
It’s a peach base on most nails, and then on one or two accent fingers you get these tiny hand-painted daisies. White petals, little yellow centers. Almost like a meadow on your hand.
Okay quick side story. I had these for a music festival last June and I am not exaggerating when I say three separate girls in the porta-potty line asked me where I got them done. One of them I still text. Her name is Hannah, she lives in Austin, and we bonded over a manicure in a literal port-a-potty line. That’s how good these are.
Peach sorbet shimmer
Peach sorbet shimmer is exactly what it sounds like. Cold, frosty, peachy, with this really fine shimmer running through it that makes your nails look like actual sorbet you’d order at a fancy restaurant in Capri.
It’s giving summer in a really specific way. I love it.
Milky peach finish
If you’re going to try one peach nail look from this list, please, please make it the milky peach finish.
It’s just a soft opaque peach in a really pretty milky version, and it goes with literally everything you own. White tees, black dresses, your gym fit, your wedding outfit. I’m not even kidding, it’s the most versatile shade I’ve ever worn.
This is the one I default to when I know I’ve got a busy two weeks and I don’t have brain space to think about my nails matching anything. It just works.
Peach marble swirls
Peach marble swirls are like little pieces of art on each finger. White and peach swirled together, no two nails identical.
The imperfection is kind of the whole point. Every nail looks slightly different and I love that. Mine had this one nail that had like an extra big swirl right in the middle and it became my favorite.
Gold foil peach nails
Okay these are the ones you get when you want a little drama.
Gold foil peach nails are a peach base – usually a deeper apricot tone – with these tiny shards of gold foil scattered across the surface. Some nails have more foil than others, which I actually think makes them look more luxe and intentional. Less sticker, more art.
I wore these to a wedding in September and I’m not joking, the bride’s photographer made me redo a hand pose because she said the gold was catching the light in a way she wanted to capture. I felt like a celebrity for approximately four seconds.
Pastel peach aura
The pastel peach aura is this softly glowing peach in the center of each nail that fades out into a milky pale base at the edges. It honestly looks like there’s a tiny sunset on each fingertip.
People notice this one. Strangers. Cashiers. Everyone.
Peach and white waves
So if you’re into something a little more playful and retro, peach and white waves are calling.
It’s basically a wavy swirly pattern where peach and creamy white kind of weave in and out of each other across each nail. Very mid-century, very pool tile, very that one café aesthetic on TikTok. So fun.
My friend Lauren saw mine at a pool day and said it looked like my nails were “dancing” which I’m still thinking about because what does that even mean. But also yes.
Glossy peach almond nails
Glossy peach almond nails are just the chicest combo. Almond shape stretches your fingers out, peach warms up your skin, and the high-shine top coat makes everything look like glass.
This is my “I have a work dinner and I want to look like I have my life together even if I don’t” manicure. Never fails me.
Peach blossom details
Peach blossom details are sort of like a cherry blossom situation but warmer. Tiny hand-painted peach-toned blossoms scattered across a milky base.
Feels like spring on your hands, even if it’s January.
Minimal peach micro French
If you work somewhere even kind of corporate, the minimal peach micro French is your friend. It’s the most quiet, grown-up version on this list.
Picture the thinnest line of peach at the very tip of each nail on a sheer milky base. From a distance, it just reads as clean. Up close, you can tell there’s a little intention behind it.
I get this one when I have like a big presentation or something and I don’t want my boss to side-eye me about my nails. Stealth chic, basically.
Peach jelly nails
Peach jelly nails are a sheer, glossy, almost translucent peach that lets a tiny bit of your natural nail color show through. It looks like your hands have been touched by a peach somehow.
Genuinely the easiest one to DIY too. Two coats of any jelly polish and you’re set.
Sunset peach gradient
If you want a manicure that kind of tells a little story, sunset peach gradient is the one.
Each nail fades from a soft pink at the cuticle into a deeper peach in the middle and then into this warm coral at the tip. It looks like an actual sunset. I’m not being dramatic, it really does.
I had these on a girls trip to Charleston last spring and there’s a picture of my hand holding a frozen drink on a wrap-around porch that ended up being my most-saved Instagram post ever. The nails carried that photo, period.
Peach pearl accents
Peach pearl accents are where soft meets dreamy in the best way. Peach base, with one or two accent nails in this pearlescent finish that shifts between peach, white, and a hint of gold depending on the light.
Very bridal. Very brunch. Very “I take long baths and own multiple linen tablecloths” energy.
Peachy nude gloss
Peachy nude gloss is the most barely-there look on this list and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. It’s a nude shade with the smallest whisper of peach undertone and a really shiny top coat.
I genuinely think this is the most flattering nude I’ve ever put on my hands. Most “your nails but better” shades wash me out a little. This one doesn’t. Don’t ask me why.
Peach chrome tips
Peach chrome tips are like the cooler younger sister of the classic French. Instead of a flat painted tip, the tips have this metallic chrome finish in a peachy-gold tone that catches every single bit of light.
Real talk – this one is dangerously photogenic. I had about thirty selfies of just my hand the week I got these. My group chat clowned me. I would do it again.
Floral peach art
Floral peach art is when you go full artist mode and let your nail tech paint actual mini compositions on your nails.
We’re talking peach-toned blooms, tiny green leaves, maybe a little white accent flower thrown in. Each nail is its own little painting. People will literally grab your hand and stare at it.
I save this one for special occasions because it’s not low-maintenance, but for events where you want a guaranteed conversation starter? Cannot recommend enough.
